She was married to Kenneth F. Henderson on Aug. 30, 1938 in Clarksville, TX and returned to Monmouth, where Henderson had grown up. He passed away on Dec. 19, 1997. Emetine was first employed by the State of Illinois as an Occupational Therapist.
